Letting the body lead
FULL MOON / ECLIPSE CHANNELED MESSAGE: For those experiencing a lot of mental agitation in these immense September energies, here's how to move out of the mind and into the body's wisdom.
Beloved soul, your body has messages for you.
The body’s language is different from that of your mind. It is a deeper knowing — a quiet whisper, requiring your full somatic attention.
But once you learn this language, your world will change forever, for in moving from mind to heart, you become a pure conduit of Source.
Your brain may tell you that it knows better, but gently set thoughts aside and intend to listen the quiet instruction of your body.
Beloved soul, you were given this body — not as entrapment, not as limitation, but a gift that has glorious potential. If you only knew the number of unincarnated souls longing for the experiences that you have through your beautiful physical vessel-! The joys and the sorrows, the challenges and tribulations, all of this is the most divine inspiration a soul could ever want!
The soul craves the wisdom of experience. What better way to level up than on the duality of the earth plane-?
The soul desires joy. What better way to feel joy than through the return from separation to Source-?
Your body holds the wisdom of your soul, as well as the quantum effect of compounded unfelt emotions. Any aches, pains and illness come from your soul’s desire for you to feel the unfelt feelings from this and prior lifetimes, to consciously learn the higher soul lesson, and then to let go of the beliefs that have caused you to suffer.
Now is the time to listen to the body’s wisdom.
When you feel something physically, allow yourself to breathe into that feeling, no matter how painful. Breathe in and allow yourself to feel it fully, locating the pain in your body, and breathing into that pain. You can ask your mind to label the feeling: “I am feeling a knot in my stomach,” as this gives your brain an important task, and you are training it to serve your body’s wisdom.
With your exhale, breathe out acceptance that your body is feeling this way. You can even thank your body for communicating with you, for showing you where you are holding onto emotions or beliefs that are causing you suffering.
Relax into your breathing, allowing yourself to feel both the emotions and the physical sensations fully, then breathe out simple acceptance that you are feeling this way. If your mind starts to tell you stories about the feelings, simply give it the renewed task of naming the feeling and/or sensation. When you breathe out, release the stories with your out breath, instructing your mind to say, “I breathe out acceptance that I feel this way.”
The feelings and sensations are messages from your soul, translated through the beautiful instrument that is your body.
Another way to listen to your body is to use your body as a pendulum:
Stand on level ground in a comfortable stance, arms to your sides, body relaxed, knees unlocked.
Say with gentle authority: “On the behalf of my highest good as the soul who is _(your name)_ in this body in this lifetime, I reclaim my sovereignty now!” Allow yourself to feel how your body feels in its sovereign state.
To test your pendulum, say a statement that feels very true to you, such as “My truth is that in this lifetime, my name is _(your name)_” Notice your body’s movement, and it may be very subtle. A shift forward, no matter how slight, indicates resonance — your body’s way of saying yes.
If you’re having trouble getting a definitive “yes” statement, say something that you know is a “no” statement: “My truth is that my name in this lifetime is Albert Camus.” Again, notice your body’s movement, which would be “leaning away” from this statement, moving backwards — this may be more pronounced than the yes, depending on how adamantly your body is saying no.
Now that you have experienced both a “yes” and a “no” in your body’s language, you can ask your body yes/no questions.1
With these tools, your body is able to communicate with your mind in a new way. The mind has its addictions and attachments, its fears and anxieties, but as the mind is part of the body, you are able to retrain it to slow down, listen and take the body’s lead.
The more that you listen — and then heed — your body’s wisdom, the more your body will trust you and want to open to you. Your mind follows your lead, adapting to being in service to the body, rather than trying to run the show.
If your mind is having trouble letting go of its role as protector of the body, you can breathe into that difficulty and breathe out acceptance, which allows it to feel heard and accepted.
The more you attune to your body wisdom, the more you trust your entire self — and then, what may have felt like a prison becomes a multidimensional wonderland of exquisite experiences, ecstatic bliss, and overflowing joy.
Your body is the conduit of miracles, and if you listen to it closely, you become a miracle too.
As this is not part of the channeled message, I am putting it down here so as to not interrupt the flow! Here are a few yes/no statement examples to test with your body:
Anything you are about to eat: “My truth is that I want to eat this pizza.” (while my mind is saying yes — and my mouth is salivating! — my body as a pendulum always says NO to this question).
Anything you are about to do, especially things you are either attached to (that’s the brain speaking) or have anxiety about (also the brain speaking): “My truth is that I want to ______.” Your body will tell you the truth every time! So if that truth is different from what your brain is saying, just to be sure, restate your "authority statement” in step #2 and then try again. If you get the same answer, even though your brain might be kicking and screaming, follow your body’s advice. It knows something you don’t, and if you listen, you’re telling it you trust it — and that helps your brain start to trust it too.
Anytime you feel afraid: “My truth is that I am safe.” Your body will tell you! This is helpful if you’re, say, out in the woods and suddenly feel creeped out. That might just be your brain having its way with you, but it also might a valid sense that something isn’t right. Your body will tell you! And if it turns out that you are safe but your brain is spinning stories about the cougar lurking in the trees, start breathing in the the fear and breathing out acceptance that you’re feeling that way. You are transmuting fear into love!
So beautiful Carrie, thank you for sharing this message. “Your body is the conduit of miracles.” I love it.✨
Thank you dear one. When I saw your post it was yet another confirmation that this is an area for me to focus on right now. I am having so many issues with ascension and energies it’s really hard to keep up. This is beautiful and helpful in bountiful amounts. Grateful. xx
