Delay in replying as we are on the island of Malta in the Mediterranean, of all places. Surely a testament to the ego mind with the enormous fortifications of the city of Valetta, named after the Grand Master of the Order of the Knights of Saint John. Ego, vanity, and the need to to be recognised, seen and be remembered. A very apt teaching for me a for years I seem to be in the middle of a lesson about the iron determination of the mind, and it's insistence we be endlessly occupied with our thoughts in an unbroken stream of "reality". But, all it takes to step out of that iron determination is to look at something of beauty and realise it's not necessary to move onto the next thought. We can just be there. Very occasionally, I can achieve that as you experienced at the ocean, the breaking out of the monotonous stream of thought, and realising I've done so. I suppose we should have the ability to move out of thought altogether?
Perfect message Carrie, so much still coming through, we've just got to hang on to what we've got, which sounds like a song, but I can't remember which one! Hang on, I've just found it, "Let's hang on, Franki Valli & The Four Seasons. Not sure if that was meant for you or me! Love and light x
So lovely, Carrie…I continue to feel the same, currently surrounded by the mountains in Southern California that contain Palm Desert and Palm Springs…so constant, so majestic, so supportive and strong for those beings living within and among their grace. You are, indeed, worthy, my daughter and friend.
It sounds like the mountains of the desert are speaking to you Mom! How beautiful! Did you read the email version of this or the Substack one? If email, I recommend seeing my second draft on Substack — some learnings dropped into place so I revised it considerably. 💜💜💜
Thank you Carrie and the ocean at Indian Island for this beautiful message. It was meant to be what it was without the whale. Perhaps we, your readers, got what we needed through your channel❤? I think we did!
Donna, thank you — it was such a beautiful message, moving me out of scarcity thinking and into true gratitude and wonder. As is the way of the light, it was also teaching at a multidimensional level, addressing a soul aspect of mine who is not yet quite convinced that the universe is a benevolent one. And the sun started shining even more brightly when I went to share it, so I knew that was what the ocean was asking for. It was beautiful all the way around.
I also know that the whale will come! 😄🐳 Part of my heart’s desire is communicate with whales and be able to predict where they will be (this has happened once in a moment of grace, and since then, I’ve wanted to do it consistently). So today was part of a bigger teaching where my guides are showing me all the ways in which I block abundance (in this case, in the form of a whale 😄) with limiting beliefs. So I am excited about this lesson — it’s a really fun one. 🐋🌊
How wonderful to have the desire to communicate with whales. It will be a journey of growth and learning! Possibly a tad bit of frustration but that goes with the journey😁
Ha! The frustration is just part of the teaching — when it shows up, it means my ego-mind is present and wanting to control outsoles. It’s all part of the learning of moving from separation mindset (control and power over) to Source consciousness (flow, co-creation and on-attachment). It is a living course in higher learning! The whale is just a metaphor and a teaching tool. Thanks for your supportive and kind comments here, it’s lovely to see your face. 💜
Yes! Moving out of thought altogether is what my soul yearns for. For the moment, though, I am practicing acknowledging the thoughts without buying into them. Pema Chodren teaches saying to oneself “Thinking” when a thought arises during meditation. I find this very helpful to do with emotions as well. “Oh I am feeling disappointment,” etc, as a means of giving my mind something to do while also not succumbing to the stories it wants to tell me about that feeling. May you enjoy the beauty of Malta! Just allow yourself to enjoy the opulence. 💜

Lol at your temptation 😂
I hope you get to see a whale again soon. I feel very connected to them and dolphins too. How beautiful that you had that moment. Sending you hugs 🤗🤗🤗

Lovely comment and video- captures the essence of so much of life....if only we open our eyes.
Sounds like you guys are appreciating all the beauty of the desert right now — so happy you’ve gotten to know the desert. 💜

Hey Louise! I listened to the song but didn’t get the connection, I must admit…?
