Today marks the first episode a weekly writing game designed to help you process the crazy of the prior week.
Whatever emotional state you find yourself in right now, stop what you’re doing and play with us — I promise you’ll feel better afterwards!1
Here’s how to play:
Listen to this post’s audio, which will lead you through the following steps:
Write the starting sentence.
When the timer starts, write continuously for 5 minutes.
Do not stop writing.
When a new word drops, immediately factor it into your writing.
At the end of 5 minutes, you’ll have 1 — and only 1! — minute to finish up.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT edit your piece! We want the raw original! (:
